Mr. Wilson earned his BA in Studio Art with concentration in Graphic Design from Morris Brown College in 2001 and earned his Teaching Certificate from UNC-Charlotte in 2009. He received his MFA in Drawing/Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco in 2015. He is a two times Elizabeth Greenshields Grant recipient, a Goodyear Arts Residency participant and a Golden Foundations Fellowship participant. He currently has a studio at the Charlotte Art League.
Mr. Cornwell earned his BFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2003 and earned his MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Winthrop University in 2010. He teaches specialized 2D courses, Printmaking and AP Art History. He lead the chapter of National Honors Society from 2010-2015. He currently serves as the Art Department Chair.
Ms. Jamie Berry earned her BA with dual concentrations in Metal Design and Photography from Meredith College, and her Teaching Certificate from East Carolina University. She holds years professional experience in both art fields, as well as residential design. Ms. Berry has worked with students in Pre-K through 12th grades, in public and private settings, since 2007. She has recently been awarded an artists residency at the Cleveland Institute of Art for her metals work.
Mrs. Beth Schmit earned her BFA in Arts Education from the University of Utah in 2009. Her concentration includes both 2D and 3D media with emphasis on 3D; Ceramics, Sculpture, Metals, Fibers and Book Arts. Schmit's personal work focuses on edges between abstraction and realism, using fiber arts to push between form and function.
