J Stacy Utley
We recently had a visit from artist J Stacy Utley. Stacy spoke to our 8th graders about collage art techniques. He shared his process and inspiration with the class.
Stacy's artistic disciplines include mixed media, painting and photography. "His current series “Any City, AMERICA” is a compelling look into gentrification through the placement of portable objects within an urban setting."
We had the pleasure of hosting Matuschka at Northwest! She is a Pulizter Prize Nominee, and featured in the Life Magazine book
100 Photographs that Changed the World for her photograph
She was a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for our students and all of the guests!
