The dismantle. contest awards $2,000 prizes to young leaders who challenge systems of oppression through art, including visual art, music, essays, stories, poetry, videos, photography, and other creative formats.
What’s the deadline for the contest?
We are accepting submissions now through March 22, 2024, at 11:59 pm ET.

Young people encounter many hurdles in life. Whether it’s at home, school, among friends, or just figuring out who they are and where they fit in. Expressions is challenging high school teens to use their creativity to share how they feel about what is happening in their world. Deadline Mar 31

Are you a 15- to 18-year old visual, literary or performing artist?
The 2025 YoungArts application opens in June 2024.

Interns will also visit other arts organizations and experiences, connect with creatives across the Charlotte region, and participate in workshops designed to encourage them to be creative while preparing for potential futures in the arts. This program runs throughout the summer months, the application will be available in Spring 2024.
